I believe deeply in using education as a force for social good. For nearly thirty years, I have been committed to building high-quality learning institutions, and through that journey, I’ve had the privilege of guiding Silver Oaks International Schools to become more than just academic institutions — places where character, integrity, and global competency grow hand in hand.

My Masters in Social Work, Bachelor’s in Law and MEP in IIM Ahmedabad helped me shape my thinking, but it is through action, reflection, and working with many wonderful educators, students, parents, and staff that I have learned what truly matters.

I draw inspiration from the doctrine of Right Livelihood in the Buddha’s Noble Eightfold Path: choosing work and leading in ways that do not harm, and that serve others with integrity.

Since founding Silver Oaks in 2002, as Managing Director, I focus on creating ecosystems with strong academic infrastructure, excellent sports facilities, continuous teacher development, and staff wellbeing. I have worked toward building five campuses across Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, which today serve over 7,000 students.

For me, the greatest fulfilment lies in seeing students who are not just competent, but responsible, compassionate, and aware — those who will carry forward not only success in their lives, but also a commitment to contribute positively to society.

I am thankful to the 500 teachers and 800 staff members who believe in Silver Oaks.

I thank everyone who has been a part of this journey and warmly welcome you to Silver Oaks. Together, we continue to build something beyond schools; we build a future where learning and virtue go hand in hand.

Destiny of a country begins in its classrooms. And teachers are the architects of that destiny.,

With this belief, my primary responsibility is to train and empower teachers in the art and science of teaching. I am fortunate to have wonderful people as teachers in all our campuses.

As Director Education, I consider myself responsible for all learning and accountable for all students in their learning journey. My focus is to enable every student with approaches to learning and help them develop agency.

I worked across diverse geographies of India. When I joined Silver Oaks in 2005, my singular focus has been on building character before competence. My conviction that character will make competence has been amply proved by my alumni who aced national boards or any competitive exams purely through agency.

At Silver Oaks, learning is not confined to textbooks. The world provides the canvas for learning. We blend the International Baccalaureate (IB) and CBSE systems — so our students gain both global relevance and local rootedness. Our approach blends national and international educational goals, fostering a culture of inquiry, empathy, and civic responsibility.

My lofty goals are realized through a sustainable curriculum developed within the school.

As an IB Workshop leader and Evaluation leader, I visit schools and train teachers globally. I take every opportunity to learn and bring back those lessons to my schools.

Education is not just about imparting knowledge; it's about shaping character and preparing students to be responsible global citizens. I am deeply committed to this mission and continue to strive towards creating learning environments that inspire and empower.
