We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at Silver Oaks International School, Kommadi Campus. The Administrative Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of administrative functions within the school, supporting both staff and students in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the school’s management team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and handling inquiries.
  2. Student Records Management: Maintain accurate student records, including enrollment data, attendance records, and academic transcripts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of school facilities, including classrooms, offices, and recreational areas, to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
  4. Event Coordination: Assist in organizing school events, such as parent-teacher meetings, extracurricular activities, and cultural programs, by coordinating logistics, communicating with stakeholders, and managing resources.
  5. Financial Administration: Support the finance department in managing school budgets, processing invoices, and tracking expenditures to ensure financial accountability and transparency.
  6. HR Assistance: Assist the HR department in recruitment processes, employee onboarding, and maintaining personnel records, adhering to relevant employment laws and regulations.
  7. Communications: Facilitate effective communication within the school community by disseminating information through various channels, such as newsletters, emails, and social media platforms.
  8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures, and regulations and assist in implementing any necessary updates or revisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office Suite and database management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the education sector is desirable.
