Sustainable thinking dispositions lead to eco friendly actions Protecting the planet involves different approaches. Besides planting trees on birthdays, acorns are also encouraged to live life the lean way by buying only what is needed and not what is wanted. We attempt to make them see that celebrations and occasions are meaningful with the needy than the well fed.

Resolved to Gift only plants and books to all guests of the school and friends. No chocolates or sweet distribution for birthdays. Save paper by avoiding gift wrapping and recycling. As Gandhiji said that every village should educate its young, we as a School have assumed the responsibility of supporting the education of underprivileged children in rural areas. We believe that transformation of a country begins at grassroot levels and that is where our responsibility begins.
We identified a 15 year old NGO called Rural Development Foundation which is running 5 schools and a junior college for less privileged in the rural areas. Having seen their sincerity in purpose and consistency in cause, we as a School have resolved to help them financially and pedagogically.
We try to develop empathy and personal responsibility in our students towards this cause through visits to these schools.
We raise funds annually to support RDF and also train their teachers continuously into qualitative teaching methods.
Our acorns also educate the ayahs and drivers with basic etiquettes and positive thinking and also help in basic literacy program.
