Admissions Manager – Vizag

The Admissions Manager manages the admissions process and ensures the school meets its enrollment targets. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships with prospective students and their families.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment
2. Develop and implement an effective marketing strategy to attract prospective students
3. Ensure that all admissions materials are accurate, up-to-date and available to prospective students
4. Organize and conduct tours of the school for prospective students and their families
5. Manage the admissions team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
6. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all prospective students regardless of their backgrounds or experiences
7. Maintain accurate records of all applicants including data on diversity, demographics, academic performance, interests etc.
8. Create reports on admissions trends to inform strategic decisions related to enrollment management
9. Coordinate with other departments in the school to ensure a seamless transition for new students into the community

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
2. At least N years of experience in an educational institution preferably with experience in managing admissions processes.
3. Familiarity with International Baccalaureate programs is a plus but not mandatory.
4. Excellent communication skills both oral and written with strong interpersonal skills.
5. A track record of successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders such as parents, faculty members, administrators etc.
6. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
